Costs and health funds

Costs, payment plans and health funds

How fees are set, what you can claim, and ways to pay.

How fees are set

Each plan is itemised after your consultation, based on the number of teeth, the materials and any laboratory work. You get this in writing before treatment starts.

Health funds

Exams, cleans, fillings, onlays and crowns are usually claimable under extras cover. Cosmetic items such as whitening and veneers often attract little or no rebate. Ask your fund using the item numbers on your quote.

Payment plans

Interest-free plans are available through third-party providers for eligible patients, subject to their terms and fees. Medicare doesn’t cover cosmetic dental treatment.

General information only. Follow any instructions you're given at your appointment, as they're specific to you. Questions after treatment: call 07 5525 6610.
